The Challenge
The business had customers in four countries and wanted local staff in each, but registering a legal entity per market meant months of lead time and ongoing filing obligations for what began as a single hire per country. Engaging people as contractors carried a real misclassification risk.
Our Solution
We acted as Employer of Record in each market: local-law employment contracts, payroll and statutory contributions in local currency, and administered statutory benefits. The business selected and managed the people; we carried the legal employment relationship and the compliance obligations that came with it.
The Results
The first hire was working nine days after the candidate accepted. Eleven people are now employed across the four markets with no entity registered in any of them, and the business has a clean transfer path for any market where opening its own entity later becomes worthwhile.
